Maths Teacher
Job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our excellent secondary school this September. This is a full-time role, for the full academic year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and engage students, helping them to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective math lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to support students with varying abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
