Maths Tutors – Bilborough, Nottinghamshire

£25–£30 per hour | Flexible hours | 1:1 and small-group tuition

TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Tutors to provide tailored support for learners in Bilborough and the surrounding Nottingham area. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students strengthen their mathematical understanding and achieve their goals.

About the Role

You will deliver personalised one-to-one and small-group tuition in maths, either at students’ homes, schools, or local community venues. Sessions will be adapted to individual needs, supporting learners to build confidence, close knowledge gaps, and prepare for exams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality maths tuition (KS2–KS4, including GCSE)

• Adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities

• Break down complex topics such as algebra, geometry, and problem-solving

• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback

• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum

• Teaching or tutoring experience (SEND/SEMH experience desirable)

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• Current safeguarding training
