Maths Teacher Required on Permanent Basis at ‘Good’ Rated Secondary School in Andover
Job Title: Maths Teacher (Secondary School)

Salary: £30,000 to £46,525 (MPS/UPS)
Start Date: September 2024
Are you a dedicated and passionate Maths teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive educational environment? We are looking for a Maths teacher to join one of our client secondary schools in the Andover area of Hampshire. This position is on a permanent basis, meaning that the successful educator will be salaried directly through the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Maths lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Foster a love for Mathematics in students, encouraging critical thinking and creativity.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to support their academic development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities, clubs, or events.
Uphold the school's policies and procedures, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Maths or related field.
Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
