Maths Teacher Role

Newport

Pay: £90 - £125 a day

Full time - Whitsun half term

The headteacher of a large secondary school is seeking a Maths teacher to help aid with small intervention whilst having a 50% timetable. This is a full time role split between teaching and intervention.


This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who can help raise attainment in their school and will be for the next two terms.The school looking for a talented, hard-working, keen maths specialist, starting after half term!


The post will suit a newly qualified teacher, keen to make their mark or a teacher with some expertise seeking a position of responsibility. The suitable candidate will have strong Mathematic knowledge as this role does require detailed awareness of the national curriculum. Proven Improvement in student development, subject knowledge and classroom behaviour management skills are essential. Rates of Pay are usually £90 -£125 per day, although for the right candidate this could change.

To apply you must have recent experience teaching pupils in a secondary school. If you are innovative and passionate about your subject we would love to receive an application from you and we welcome applications from NQTs as well as experienced teachers.
