I have a school in North-West London who are looking for a strong Mathematics teachers to start a full-time role in September. It is a strong school which was been rated highly by Ofsted, aiming for and maintaining high educational standards. They have a friendly working environment and are looking for a someone to join their personable and hard-working team.

UK Qualified Mathematics teacher

Details about the role are below:

  • UK qualifications are required for this Maths teacher role (e.g. BSc, QTS, PGCE)
  • Teachers are expected to be experienced at Secondary school, KS3-5 level
  • The school is rated highly by Ofsted, and has strong and decisive leadership
  • Full-time role: 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Pay ranges from £150-200 a-day depending on experience and qualifications
  • It would be a temporary contract (2 terms - 1 year)
  • a 10 minute walk from Drayton Green station

The Role

The roles we have available for Mathematics teachers would be an opportunity for teachers with strong aspirations. Not only do the school set high standards for their students and staff, but they understand the need for a life balance. The successful candidate would be expect to work hard during work hours, ensuring all work is completed and to the best the of the specific candidates ability. However, time to recharge and relax is afforded out of school hours, the leadership understand the need for a healthy and relaxed teacher in their school.

The September start date for this role has interviews for these roles starting next week and continuing into the following week. The incoming teacher would be expected to work 8:30am till 3:30pm, 5 days a week as a full-time role. The school are searching for candidates who can engage the students with exciting lessons and an aim to get students interested in learning. Planning and conducting lessons would be expected, along with marking students work and providing feedback for them to build on. Experience working with SEN, languages or extra-curricular activities would be welcome.

By having the entire school working towards an objective of equality and holding the same belief, the children are immersed in the ethos and begin adopt it themselves.

Ofsted have rated the school as "outstanding" as it has a strong leadership team who ensure their staff have everything the need and help where ever they can.

Location

The school is accessible via Drayton Green station and is less than a 10 minute walk.
