Maths teacher required in Darlington for "Outstanding" School

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of an Ofsted graded "Outstanding" school in Darlington who are looking for a KS3/4 Maths teacher. The successful candidate will be required to start in September on a temporary, full time basis. Initially, the position is temporary with the out look to becoming permanent for the right candidate. As a Maths teacher, you will be required to demonstrate outstanding practice and a passion for teaching, with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring maths lessons that promote progression for pupils. It is essential that the successful candidate can build positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents as well as show initiative in the classroom in providing creative and inspiring maths lessons.

**Full time Maths teacher to teach KS3/4**

**Temporary position with the outlook to becoming permanent**

**September start**

**Monthly pay rates of £480-£640**

Overview of the role

  • Follow the structured schemes of work to ensure that the students are progressing fromKS3 to KS4
  • Establish an excellent working relationship with groups and individuals to encourage pupils to actively get involved in their own learning
  • Carry out a range of tasks from planning lessons, assignments, classwork and setting additional work which will prove challenging for students
  • Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification and QTS
