Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent Maths graduate considering a career in teaching?
Would you like the opportunity to gain paid work experience and a clear direct route onto a school based initial teacher training course?
Teaching Personnel's Future Teacher Programme is available to all Maths graduates who are considering a career in teaching and wish to gain experience in schools. Once enrolled, the course will provide you with invaluable teaching experience and will help you decide if teaching is the right career for you.
Through the Future Teachers Programme, successful graduates will be placed in a local secondary school and will work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in our client schools Maths for up to one academic year. Over the course of the placement, graduates will undertake a range of tasks including in class support and subject specialist one-to-one intervention. Graduates will also assist in the planning and preparation of lesson plans and resources - giving you a real insight into life as a teacher.
All graduates will receive ongoing support from an in school teacher mentor and Teaching Personnel. Upon completion of the course, all graduates will then have the skills and confidence required to progress on to formal teacher training.
Highlights of the Graduate Teaching Assistant & Future Teachers Programme:
- Work as a Maths specialist Graduate Teaching Assistant for up to one academic year in a local secondary school
- Earn up to £1200 per month whilst gaining invaluable teaching experience
- Have the opportunity to progress on to formal teacher training following the completion of the Future Teachers Programme
