A school located in Kingston is currently searching for an experienced Maths teacher to start in September. Teachers must have taught Mathematics at key stage 3 to key stage 5 and available for a full time and permanent role. Interviews are commencing in the next month.

The Maths teachers who will be successful in the interview process will have a strong subject knowledge and will be passionate about their subject. As with any strong teacher, the candidate must be able to control the class whether through inspiration and engagement or any other behaviour policy.

Maths Teacher Required in Kingston

Details about the role are below:

  • The school are looking for people with UK recognised teaching qualifications (e.g. QTS, PGCE, BEd).
  • Experience teaching Maths at Secondary school, KS3-5 level, is required.
  • It is an "outstanding" rated school with a strong and decisive leadership who ensure the schools high standards are met.
  • Pay ranges from £120-230 a day depending on experience and qualifications
  • Full-time role: 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • It would be a permanent position
  • An 12 minute walk from Kingston station

The Role

This role is a great opportunity for any eager and ambitious teachers looking for a new challenge. Once in this role there will be an expectation to plan, prepare and conduct lessons as well as marking work and providing feedback. Teachers who are willing to run catch up sessions, have experience running extra curricular groups or working with SEN students will stand out. The school would like to hire someone who is willing to go the extra mile for their students.
