"We are looking for a motivated and positive Mathematics teacher to join us following for the final half term of this academic year, starting on Monday 3rd June 2019. We require a Mathematics teaching as a result of an upcoming operation of one of our long standing Mathematics teachers. The successful Mathematics teacher will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Mathematics, with the additional opportunity to provide intervention to our year 8 and 9 students".

Our client secondary school located in the Chorlton/Stretford area of South Manchester is looking for a Mathematics teacher as per the above the information from the Head of Mathematics. Teaching up to GCSE level, the school are looking for a Maths teacher who is available from 3rd June for the duration of the half term until the end of the academic year. Any prior experience in providing intervention or supporting small groups would be highly beneficial but is not essential. The school are encouraging applications from newly qualified teachers as well as more experienced teachers.

Highlights of this Mathematics teaching position:

  • Pay will be dependent upon payscale and experience, ranging between £600 - £775 per week
  • This temporary Mathematics teaching placement will be for the final half term of the year with a majority teaching timetable including intervention
  • Full time, 5 days per week for the half term, starting Monday 3rd June
  • Highly supportive large Mathematics department in this large mixed comprehensive secondary school

This co-educational secondary school located in the South Manchester area of Chorlton/Stretford has a great reputation in the Manchester area and are therefore the school of choice for a lot of the local cohort of students. There is an expectation of students but also staff to teach exciting and engaging lessons of the highest quality. Any effective Mathematics teachers are highly encouraged to apply for immediate consideration for this full time temporary Maths teaching position.

Located in the South Manchester area, the school is local to the metrolink tram line making it very easy to access for students and staff alike. The school has fantastic facilities for all stakeholders of the school including the local community and a very well resourced Maths department. For those Mathematics teachers that drive, the school has a large secure on site car park for all staff to use.
