This school's leadership affords teachers the opportunity to influence the curriculum to benefit their students. Incoming staff will be required to teach mainly KS3 and KS4, but there would be some lessons within the timetable for Maths A-level. This balance of lessons can change after a couple of months on the role if requested.
Leadership at the school want to continue and strengthen the already high standards in the Maths department, over 75% A*-C at GCSE level. Therefore, they are looking for a strong classroom practitioner who is looking to develop their leadership skills to later take on added responsibility. Within the classroom, support staff will be provided to ensure teachers can manage behaviour whilst delivering high quality lessons.
