Lunchtime Assistant - Part-Time
Hours: 11:30am – 1:30pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £5,509 (Pro-rata, £23,662 FTE)
A fantastic special needs school in Reigate is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lunchtime Assistant to support pupils during the midday period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a nurturing educational environment.
About the School
The school caters for pupils aged 2–11 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Our team is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging space where every child is supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise pupils during lunch breaks, ensuring a calm and safe environment.
- Provide support with feeding and personal care as needed.
- Encourage positive social interaction and play.
- Collaborate with teaching and support staff.
Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN setting (not essential).
- A patient, compassionate, and reliable nature.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
