Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Gateshead | September Start

We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Gateshead from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who enjoys working across the primary age range and is committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Provide one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) when required.
- Assist with small group interventions to support pupil progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Adapt to the changing needs of the school and pupils with flexibility and enthusiasm.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Has experience working within a primary school setting.
- Is flexible and confident supporting children across different year groups.
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEND, including delivering effective 1:1 support.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, caring, and committed to making a positive difference in children's lives.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
