Location: Gateshead, Tyne and Wear

Pay: £135–£150 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and adaptable Teachers to join our Guaranteed Work Scheme in the Gateshead area. This unique opportunity provides both flexibility and financial security — offering guaranteed pay whether we find you work that day or not.

You’ll gain access to a wide variety of schools across Gateshead and surrounding areas, allowing you to build your experience, expand your network, and potentially secure long-term or permanent positions.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in the UK curriculum (EYFS, Primary, or Secondary)
  • A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to work in different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
