Are you a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant? Are you looking to become part of a successful support team? Are you confident to cover lessons where required?
If so a Larger than average primary school located in the Aspull area of Wigan is currently looking to appoint a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant Cover Supervisor, starting as soon as possible and continuing until summer, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
A successful candidate should:
- Have experience covering classes
- Be level 3 qualified
- Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team
- Have experience across KS1 and KS2
- Be adaptable and flexible where necessary
- Have experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Be willing to take on first aid responsibility
- Be able to supervise prepared learning activities in the short term/ unplanned absence
- Be able to promote good behaviour

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
