Level 3 teaching assistant -Bury

A primary school in the Bury (BL9) area is currently looking for a Level 3 teaching assistant to work across Key Stage 2. This role will be starting on the 9th September 2019 and will carry on until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will be expected to support the teacher and pupils within the Year 3 classroom in the mornings and will also be expected to lead full lessons in some afternoons when needed. Because of this, the Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant with experience in a Key Stage 2 class room and is confident in front of a class room of children. You will:

  • Be providing additional support in the Year 3 class room
  • Be working with children in small group across the primary curriculum
  • Supervise whole classes when required in the short term absence of a teacher

A successful primary school applicant should:

  • Be creative, enthusiastic and engaging
  • Have a strong passion for helping pupils to succeed in what they do
  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Degree with relevant experience
  • Have previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs
  • Be flexible and adaptable

This is a lovely and warm large primary school in the Bury (BL9) area with excellent transport links. The school has an inclusive vision to celebrate diversity and difference and nurtures children's academic, emotional and spiritual growth.

The Head teacher is looking for a teaching assistant to start straight away. If you are interested, please send your CV or call Luke at the Manchester West primary branch at 0161 242 1792 for more information.
