Full-Time Year 3 Teacher – Maternity Cover

Gosport

Start: ASAP | Until 31 January 2027

 

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Gosport to recruit a dedicated Year 3 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position.

This role is to start as soon as possible and will run until 31st January 2027, offering excellent continuity and stability for the right candidate.

 

This class has experienced a period of inconsistency due to unavoidable staff sickness. They now need a strong, calm and nurturing teacher who can provide structure and consistency.

They are a lovely class of children who just need some nurturing and consistency to help them succeed.

 

About the Role:

  • Full-time class teacher
  • Small class size of 17 pupils
  • High levels of SEND within the class
  • Opportunity to make a genuine, long-term impact

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A confident with strong behaviour management
  • Experience with SEND is highly desirable
  • Committed to providing consistency and building trusting relationships
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
