Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 or Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge in a supportive and vibrant secondary school?
A forward-thinking and high achieving mainstream secondary school in Wallasey is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on young people’s education and development in a dynamic learning environment.
The Role:
- Provide in-class support across a range of subjects and year groups
- Work closely with teaching staff to plan and deliver targeted interventions
- Support students with additional needs to access the curriculum
- Lead small group activities and, if HLTA qualified, cover lessons when required
- Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (HLTA status highly desirable)
- Experience working in a secondary school or similar setting
- A strong understanding of how to support pupils with diverse learning needs
- Confidence in supporting the delivery of the national curriculum
- Excellent communication, teamwork and behaviour management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
