Graduate Teaching Assistant – September 2025 Start
Location: Liverpool and surrounding areas
Contract Type: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £90 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and placement)

Are you a recent graduate with a strong interest in education? Are you passionate about supporting young people with complex needs or those requiring academic assistance?

Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated graduates to take on full-time Teaching Assistant roles in mainstream and specialist schools across Liverpool and the surrounding areas. Starting in September 2025, these positions offer the potential to become permanent for the right candidates.

The Role:

  • Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
  • Assisting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and SEMH
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning plans
  • Creating an inclusive, positive and safe classroom environment
  • Contributing to the overall progress and well-being of pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate (any discipline considered) with a genuine passion for education
  • Strong interest in working with children who have additional needs or require academic intervention
  • Empathetic, patient, and resilient with a proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in schools, youth work or care settings is advantageous but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
