Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in the South Wirral area to recruit multiple Learning Support Assistants for September 2025. These exciting roles are offered on a temp to perm basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position based on performance.

About the Role:

  • Support students aged 11–16 with additional learning needs (ALN), including SEN and SEMH.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure inclusive classroom practice.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to reports and reviews.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or a relevant qualification (e.g., Psychology degree).
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with learning and emotional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
