Job description

A secondary school Teaching Personnel are working with in South Sheffield have an opening for a learning support assistant. The role is due to start after the Easter break, but there is an opportunity to start before.

You will be assisting in a range of positions in the SEN department. Including 1:1 and small group mentoring ensuring they do not fall behind academically.

To be successful you should have:

-          Previous experience working in a secondary school environment,

-          Have provided support for young adults in a similar setting,

-          Have a kind and caring nature.

Any further qualifications in the sector would be desirable to go alongside experience.

This role is perfect for anyone studying and wanting to work around your studies prior to starting a PGCE or equivalent.

Any successful applicant would be subject to DBS and Right to work UK checks so relevant documents will be requested.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
