Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – SEN School (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Winchester
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £13.75 per hour
We are looking for dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a specialist SEN school in Winchester, supporting primary and secondary aged pupils with a range of needs including autism, learning difficulties, and associated additional needs.
This is a rewarding role within a nurturing and structured school environment, where pupils are supported through personalised learning approaches to help them achieve their full potential.
The Role:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups across primary and secondary age ranges

Assisting with differentiated learning activities tailored to individual needs
-
Supporting communication, sensory regulation, and emotional development
-
Encouraging independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
-
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff
-
Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
About You:
-
Experience in a SEN setting is helpful but not essential
-
An interest in supporting children and young people with autism and learning difficulties
-
A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Experience in education, care, support work, or similar roles is advantageous

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
