Learning Support Assistant

Whitchurch, Hampshire

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real difference? We are looking for a Full-time LSA to join a friendly and enthusiastic primary school team in Whitchurch, starting as soon as possible. This will be to support KS1 and KS2 children with their learning and development. 

You must have previous experience working in a UK primary school to be considered for this role.

Pay: £13.75 an hour (£90 a day)

Temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.

We’re Looking For:

  • A caring individual who is supportive and patient.
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous experience with SEN children is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Two contact references from most recent employers.
  • An up to date CV outlining career history from education.
  • Up to date CPD safeguarding training or willing to complete this.
