Primary Learning Support Assistant
Location: Alton, Hampshire
Start Date: January 2026 or sooner
Term Time Only | Monday to Friday

8:15am – 3:30pm

£13.75 an hour.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a motivated and inclusive primary school in Alton. This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone looking to work within a caring and collaborative school setting.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
  • Happy to support KS1 and KS2 children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEND support (desirable)

What You'll Do:

  • Support individual pupils or small groups with a range of educational needs
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Foster a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, SENDCO, and external specialists
