Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school based in Havant. This is a full-time position ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially.

About the Role

As an LSA, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.

• Help create an inclusive, engaging and safe learning environment.

• Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour as required.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential).

• A patient, empathetic and proactive approach.

• Strong communication skills.

• Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.

• Willingness to undergo a DBS check (or already on the update service).
