Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – SEN School in Havant
Pay: £13.75 per hour

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school based in Havant. This is a full-time position ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially.
About the Role
As an LSA, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.

Help create an inclusive, engaging and safe learning environment.

Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and behaviour as required.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff.
What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential).

A patient, empathetic and proactive approach.

Strong communication skills.
-
Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse needs.

Willingness to undergo a DBS check (or already on the update service).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
