Primary Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Basingstoke.

The Role:

  • Provide tailored support to KS2 pupils with SEN needs.
  • Work closely with class teachers to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
  • Encourage and inspire children to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting KS2 SEN children is essential.
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and commitment to making a positive difference.

Details:

  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Pay rate: £13.75 per hour.
  • Hours: Full-time, during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
