Job description

Special Needs Teaching Assistants – Hampshire

(Winchester, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hook)

Specialist schools across Hampshire are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join their teams as Special Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs). Roles are available in SEN and SEMH settings supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges.

Key Details

  • Full-time and part-time positions available

  • Term-time only

  • Training provided

  • Pay dependent on experience and setting

  • Locations: Winchester, Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hook

Applicants should be patient, reliable, and committed to supporting the learning and development of young people. Previous experience in education, care, or youth work is desirable but not essential.

Requirements

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)

  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
