Learning Support Assistant

Location: Monmouthshire, South Wales
 Pay Rate: £89.38 per day
 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
 Contract: Starting December 2025

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a fantastic secondary school in the Monmouthshire area to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while making a real difference to students’ academic progress and wellbeing.

No formal qualifications or prior classroom experience are required – what matters most is your attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to demonstrate transferable skills at interview!

Requirements

Teaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:

• Must be 18 or over
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service
• Level 2 Safeguarding training
• At least two professional referencescovering 24 months of employment
