Working as a teaching assistant with autism is a fun, rewarding and challenging role where you are able to build positive relationships while supporting learning in a creative way.
With full-time positions starting immediately in Southall, Ealing we are looking for people with a genuine passion to support special educational needs and an interest in longer term positions.
We have roles both in primary and secondary classes on a full-time basis with opportunities to apply for permanent positions within the school. All children at the school are diagnosed with autism and some may be non-verbal with speech and language difficulties or display challenging behaviours. Weekly training is provided to staff from the National Autistic Society so being open to learning is important.
