Learning Mentors- Warrington
Teaching Personnel work in close partnership with a high achieving secondary school located within Warrington to provide with them Learning Mentors on both a daily and longer term basis.
The role of a Learning Mentor within our partner school is to support identified pupils in class and to provide intervention with small groups to ensure they make the required progress.

Our partner secondary school is a highly inclusive school where all pupils are given the best possible chance to succeed. As a result, the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is looking to source additional Learning Mentors to support pupils who have who have special educational needs (SEN) in lessons and to help them overcome barriers to learning prior to the exam period.
We would particularly like to hear from you if you have previous experience of working with pupils who have special educational needs e.g. Autism, Aspergers Syndrome or ADHD. A Teaching Assistant qualification is preferable (although not essential). Moreover, the school are specifically seeking individuals who have he ability to establish rapport with pupils quickly and being able to display empathy to the barriers they face.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
