KS2 Teaching Assistant – Poole
Full Time | Term Time Only | Immediate / Easter Start Available

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within Key Stage 2?

I am working with one of my lovely, welcoming mainstream primary schools in Poole who are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference supporting pupils across Years 3–6.

The Role:

  • Supporting the class teacher within a KS2 classroom

  • Working with small groups to deliver targeted interventions

  • Providing additional support to pupils who may need extra guidance

  • Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting (ideally KS2)

  • Confident supporting literacy and numeracy

  • A calm, patient and proactive approach

  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
