PE Teacher Needed

A well-respected secondary school in Salford is seeking a full-time PE Teacher to start after the Easter break. The school offers excellent access via public transport and also provides an onsite car park for staff who drive.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and committed PE specialist who can deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4. The school has strong sporting facilities and a supportive department focused on student participation, wellbeing, and achievement. The educator will be paid to their MPS/UPS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging practical and theory PE lessons
  • Plan, mark, and assess work in line with school policies
  • Contribute to extracurricular sport and whole‑school events
  • Maintain strong behaviour management to support learning
  • Work collaboratively within the PE department

Requirements:

  • UK QTS – essential
  • Experience teaching PE within secondary schools
  • Confident classroom and behaviour‑management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students in both practical and theory settings
