Learning Mentor/ Pastoral Support Worker Required in Salford

The role will include supporting both pupils and their families, in order to overcome any barriers to learning that they may face, liaising with a range of agencies, including safeguarding professionals. The school is therefore looking for someone who can take a patient, caring and nurturing approach to a range of situations, understand the needs of each individual and considering the range of backgrounds that the pupils come from.

Requirements:

• A passionate, engaging and motivated personality
• Be a strong communicator and be able to work well as part of a team.
• Transferable skills i.e sports, art, and academic
• At least 5 A-C GCSE grades
• Experience working/volunteering with children
• Ambition for career development
• High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
• The willingness to immerse themselves in all aspects of the school, extra curricular etc
