Job Title: Maths Teacher

Job Salary: £30,000 - £46,500 per annum

Job Location: Huyton, Merseyside

Job Contract: Full time, permanent

Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce are currently working alongside a Secondary School located in Merseyside, who are seeking a Lead Mathematics Teacher to join an academy located in Huyton, to start in September 2024 or sooner. 

 

Job Role: 

  • You will be required to teach GCSE Mathematics to students aged 11 - 16
  • Provide 1:1 support to students as and where needed
  • Liaise with the Head of Department regarding creative ways to develop the curriculum
  • Provide constructive feedback to students following exams/tests

 

Job Requirements:

  • UK recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) with QTS
  • Prior experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE level
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree within the subject
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or no prior cautions or convictions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
