Are you a teacher considering a change from the traditional classroom setting but still passionate about impacting children's education? If so, 1:1 tuition might be the perfect fit for you.

Transitioning to 1:1 tutoring allows you to tailor your educational approach to the specific needs of individual students, making a significant difference in their learning journey. With pupils outside of mainstream education, tutoring sessions will occur in homes, care homes, and public libraries.

As a 1:1 tutor, you'll also gain more personal time for yourself and your family. Say goodbye to overwhelming paperwork as you control your own hours and workload, accepting as much or as little work as desired.

Currently, we are seeking 1-1 Maths and English tutors in Arnold (NG5), Nottingham, and surrounding areas to work with students in Year 7, 8, or 9 (KS3). Start immediately or align with your availability.

The Role:

  • Providing personalised support in core subjects (Maths, English, or Primary depending on student's levels)
  • Developing tailored learning programs
  • Conducting tutoring sessions in home environments or public libraries
  • Working with students of diverse ages and abilities
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Full-time and part-time hours available
  • Consistent workload with ongoing roles

What You'll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher with QTS or equivalent OR experience in teaching, tutoring, or as a Teaching Assistant
  • Experience with KS3-aged pupils (Year 7, 8, or 9)
  • Enthusiastic, engaging, and friendly demeanor

Working with Teaching Personnel offers numerous benefits, including:

  • Dedicated consultants to assist in finding suitable roles and supporting your journey
  • Competitive pay rates
  • Exclusive access to our CPD Academy for professional development
  • Flexibility in working conditions
