KS2 year leader - Southall - full time - September start - £150 to £170 per day

We are currently recruiting for a full time KS2 year leader to help run and lead the KS2 classes. This role will involve planning all KS2 classes and the curriculum alongside the class teachers, overseeing the running of the classes - including supporting them through their SATs examinations.

The role?

This full time role will involve supporting the running of the KS2 classes; planning, preparing and assessing the classes. You will be required to work alongside the KS2 teachers to create the curriculum, assist them with the evaluation of students of a lower ability and those with special educational needs. Alongside the SENCO and senior leadership team you will be aiming to improve the classes assessments and SATs results, setting them in to a positive classroom routine.

This school is located in Southall, a short distance from Southall station. It is easily located by a number of train and bus services.

Ideal candidate?

  • Experienced teacher/year lead for KS2 classes
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • Able to support and guide numerous class teachers and other members of staff
