KS2 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school in Crosby who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to cover KS2 years 3 and 4.
The school has a fantastic network of experienced and supportive staff and has on-site parking available. This role is full time and is due to start when the schools re-open.
Successful Candidates will:
- Have previous experience working in a school environment.
- Has achieved a relevant NVQ level 3 or equivalent and has a proven track record of contributing to the raising of standards in a school.
- Be willing to carry out duties in the classroom to assist and support the teacher in all aspects of work
- Have the ability to support the school with its initiatives.
- Have an ability to work collaboratively with all members of staff.
- Be able to inspire, challenge and motivate all children to achieve
- Have a commitment to working strategically as part of a team to improve standards of teaching and learning Have the confidence, skills and abilities to lead and manage interventions throughout Key Stage 2.
- Be a positive role model in school
The School Generally, the children who attend school, tend to arrive from a variety of social backgrounds and mostly from socially deprived. As a result of this, the children tend to arrive with low language skills and academic ability. With this, you will be expected to tailor your delivery to ensure that all children are able to access the Curriculum and in turn, creating an individualised learning environment.The school is classed as having high levels of EAL.
