The Role:
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of Key Stage 2 students. You will work closely with teachers to create engaging learning experiences, provide one-on-one support to students, and assist with classroom management. Your enthusiasm, patience, and dedication will help create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
- Assist students with their learning, offering guidance and encouragement as needed
- Help to create a stimulating learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth
- Support the social and emotional development of students, fostering positive relationships and a sense of belonging
- Assist with classroom organization and preparation of teaching materials
- Participate in school-wide events and initiatives as required
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and a passion for working with children
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
