Teaching personnel are working with a school in the Manchester, M22 region to recruit a KS2 intervention Teaching Assistant. The role is a temporary position for the rest of the academic year but could offer the opportunity of a permanent role for the following academic year.
- The role pays £8.41 - £12 an hour depending on experience
- SATs support
- Working with small groups
The school has been rated "good" by Ofsted in the most previous report and is now looking to better the school and the students by offering intervention classes for pupils.
The Manchester school is looking for someone that can help out with pupils struggling with the lead up to their SATs. The role would involve supporting pupils with Reading and Maths by taking the pupils into smaller grouped classes and helping them develop these skills. The groups will involve around 5 pupils at a time from the Year 6 class.
Having previous experience within Key Stage 2 and specifically with year 6 SATs would be highly sort after. Core subject graduates of Maths and English would also be beneficial.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
