Year 6 Teaching Assistant

• Y6 Teaching Assistant in Rochdale Borough (OL10)
• Daily rate of pay starting at GBP65
• 30 hours per week – TERM TIME ONLY – September Start

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a client school in Heywood (OL10) in the Rochdale LEA. The school is looking for a candidate who is looking to get into a full time Y6 teaching assistant role focused on pupil interventions getting children ready for SATS, up until the end of the academic year.

The role is to work at a school which has been rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted. The school are looking for a candidate to work along side the teacher to deliver small group activities and one-to-one interventions.

The ideal candidate appointed will:

• Be a pro-active and reliable person
• Committed to work with children with the Upper KS2 curriculum
• Would be useful to have experience working with small group tuition and delivering one-to-one interventions

This would be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate looking for their next Y6 Teaching Assistant position. It would be essential that the candidate would have some experience at a previous school.
