Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside an 'Outstanding' three-form entry Primary School in CR0, who are on the lookout for a full-time Year 3 Class Teacher to start in September 2018.

Since opening, the school has grown from strength to strength and in June 2012, the school received an Outstanding Ofsted judgement across all areas of the school.

The school is well known for consistent exceptional teaching throughout the school, including in the specially resourced provision, supporting pupils in making significant progress in reading, writing and mathematics. Teachers have very high expectations of what all the pupils can achieve and set tasks that are suitably difficult to support pupils in reaching their potential.

The children access a creative Year 3 curriculum which is designed with half termly topics, these topics include:

Autumn 1: Ancient Egypt Autumn 2: The Circus Spring 1: The Stone Age Spring 2: Extreme Weather Summer 1: Marvellous Medicine Summer 2: Gadgets The children are also taught PE once a week with our Sports coach and access weekly singing with our music teacher.

Person Specification

  • Qualified to degree level and above.
  • Qualified to teach and work in the UK.
  • Up to date knowledge in the primary curriculum, understanding of the strategies needed to establish consistently high aspirations and standards of results and behaviour.
  • Excellent classroom practitioner.

At Teaching Personnel, we are committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all children. In order to work through Teaching Personnel, you must:

- Have UK QTS or equivalent.

- Have a current DBS on the Update Service or be willing to get one (Full Assistance Provided).

- Be able to provide two references covering six years.
