We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Key Stage 2 team and provide targeted support for children with additional needs.


Your Role

As a KS2 SEN TA, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with special educational needs
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering an inclusive and engaging curriculum
  • Help implement EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets under the guidance of the SENCO
  • Promote pupils’ emotional wellbeing, resilience, and independence
  • Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual needs

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school, particularly in Key Stage 2
  • Is kind, patient, and resilient, with a proactive and flexible attitude
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and child protection
  • Works effectively as part of a team and builds positive relationships with children and staff
  • Is supportive of the Catholic ethos and values of our school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
