A larger than average Roman Catholic Primary school in Crumpsall, Manchester (M8) is looking to recruit a proactive Teaching Assistant who has experience working with children who display challenging behaviour. This school prides itself on 'equality of opportunity' and requires a KS1 Teaching Assistant who will work affectively with a handful of children across KS1 who need additional support to manage their behaviour. The successful candidate will work closely with the schools SENCO to tailor IEP's to suit the individual needs of the children. The school shows good levels of attendance and progression and needs an experienced TA with a positive, hard working attitude to support across KS1!

This position will start in September with the role initial up until Christmas. The opportunity for extension may be possible for the right candidate

It is essential that applicants have experience supporting young people with difficult behaviour and Team Teach would be advantageous to any candidate applying for this role but not a necessity.

• Has experience working in a KS1 environment
