Job description

Make a Real Difference in Education

TP Tutors is recruiting dedicated tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition across Medway and surrounding areas.

This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support both mainstream and SEN/SEND learners who require additional guidance to achieve their educational goals. Students may need support with Maths, English and other curriculum subjects, alongside assistance with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and wider learning needs.

Working closely with each learner, you'll create engaging and personalised sessions that encourage confidence, independence and academic progress.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality one-to-one tuition
  • Tailor learning to individual strengths and needs
  • Support academic achievement and personal development
  • Monitor and record learner progress
  • Collaborate with schools, parents and other professionals
  • Help learners overcome barriers to education

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring or education experience
  • Experience supporting mainstream and/or SEN learners
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel throughout Medway and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
