TP Tutors is seeking qualified and passionate QTS Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition throughout Portsmouth and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for experienced teachers looking to make a meaningful impact outside the traditional classroom. You'll support both mainstream learners and students with SEN/SEND needs, helping them build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge and achieve positive educational outcomes.

Students may require intervention support, exam preparation, catch-up tuition or personalised learning programmes designed around Autism, ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality personalised tuition
Adapt lessons to individual learning needs
Support learners across primary and secondary age ranges
Promote engagement and achievement
Monitor and report on student progress
Work closely with families and education professionals

Essential Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous classroom teaching experience
Strong curriculum knowledge
Experience supporting learners with varying abilities
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
Ability to travel within Portsmouth and nearby areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
