Job description

KS1 Teacher – Full-Time (January Start) – Wythenshawe

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a group of welcoming and supportive primary schools in the Wythenshawe area, who are seeking a committed Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team from January through to the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday.

Whether you're an Early Career Teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience, or an experienced educator seeking a fresh opportunity, this role offers a chance to make a real impact in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to KS1 pupils.
  • Support children’s academic and personal development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to enhance teaching practices.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching where needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for early years education and child development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
