A diverse, strongly lead primary school in the Dewsbury area are seeking a qualified Key Stage 1 Teacher. "This is a good school - pupils from a range of different backgrounds get on very well together, enjoy coming to school and look forward to their lessons" Ofsted 2013. The school prides itself on its ethos of 'Being Kind, Being Fair, Working Hard'. The pupils enter school at low levels but by the end Key Stage 1 are working at or above the national average. For the majority of pupils, English is not their first language and the schools has forged excellent relationships with the wider community. The role will commence on the 26th February, candidates with a range of experiences are encouraged to apply.
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
