Y5 Class Teacher

A very popular school in NG7 are actively seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and passionate Year 2 Class Teacher. The position is to start from April 2019 due to a planned absence and is expected to continue until December 2019. The school is located close to the centrel of Mansfield and is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Nottingham, and Areas of Derbyshire.
This is a full time class teaching role and the school are looking for a practitioner who will get fully involved in all aspects of school life. The school welcome applications from Experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers. The school is made up of a supportive staff team and due to this school being one of the largest in the area, the planning responsibilities will be shared alongside a partner teacher.
The School was graded as 'Good' by Ofsted and it was said that most students reach the expected levels in reading, writing and mathematics at the end of Year 2. The pupils are welcoming, friendly and polite, they are eager to learn and behaviour in lessons is outstanding.
You will be given full support from the Senior Leaders however the successful teacher must be familiar with the KS2 curriculum and have a genuine passion for working with children. This is an fantastic opportunity to grow and develop professionally. The school are also committed to helping Newly Qualified Teachers complete their induction and have the capacity to support an NQT.
