About the Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join one of our friendly and engaging primary schools in Hedge End. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified teacher who is passionate about helping pupils develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum, supporting pupils in achieving their academic potential while fostering their personal and social development.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum and effective assessment strategies
• Excellent classroom management skills and a positive approach to behaviour
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and adaptability in your teaching style
• A reflective practitioner who strives for continuous improvement
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a team

Main Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2 subjects
• Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment that motivates pupils
• Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress effectively
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
• Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold school values
