Job Title: Full-Time Year 2 Class Teacher
Location: Andover
Salary: £500 – £700 per week (including 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

Teaching Personnel is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a skilled and supportive Year 2 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Andover.


‍ About the Role:

You’ll take the lead in a Year 2 classroom, guiding children through a crucial stage in their learning journey and preparing them for a smooth transition into Key Stage 2. This is a full-time role in a well-established and supportive school environment where your expertise and creativity will be valued every day.


✅ What We’re Looking For:

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • A solid understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, but be willing to come safeguarding training through Teaching Personnel.
  • KS1 experience – especially in Year 2
  • The ability to plan engaging lessons that meet all learners’ needs
  • A caring, team-focused attitude with a strong support system for pupils and colleagues
  • DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one. 
  • 2/3 solid references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
