We are currently looking for a Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 Teacher required in the Poole area from September, with the opportunity to move on to a permanent contract.
The school, based just outside central Poole, are looking for a Teacher to support the needs of students aged 7-14 with ASC and SEMH in a mixed class of up to 6/7 children.
The school is a specialist school, catering for children with Autism.
The School is a unique educational provision, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 7 and 16 years old. We are a school for young people who are finding mainstream education difficult.
All pupils attending the school have statements of special educational needs linked with SEMH including specific learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders, cognitive and complex learning difficulties.
You will ideally have experience working in a PRU/Short Stay School/EBD School although this is not essential, if you are strong and resilient, as the class can be challenging.
